I was Raised by good parents who taught me right from wrong. I have tried to do what is right. Surely that makes me a good person......Right?

God Never said "Be Good." Jesus said that we ARE NOT good." We are No good by nature. There is no possible way for us to be Good by ourselves. In fact, if we say we are, that would be self-righteousness. Just another sin on our list.

Some people think that Christians are Arrogant when they Say "Jesus Is The Only Way" I believe it is more arrogant when people want to change God to suit themselves. How Absurd!

Many people just think they know the word of God. Few really do.
An example of misusing a verse out of context is quoting Jesus' words in Luke 12:19, "Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry," and trying to pass it off as Jesus' philosophy of life. Wrong!
True worship is to be so personally and hopelessly in love with God, that the idea of a transfer of affection never even remotely exists.

In order to understand this verse, we have to look at the context. This verse is found within the final portions of the Sermon on the Mount in a section discussing true as opposed to false faith and the eternal judgment of God.
Some say that Christianity was made up for power, control and money.
AS a matter of fact, in those first 400 years, the followers of of Christ, or, the way, as it was called, were only met with ridicule, censorship, persecution and brutal death. So Much for Power, Control, or Money.

Why do bad things happen to good people? As hard as it is to acknowledge, we must remember that there are no "good" people, in the absolute sense of the word.
Feeling bored, unfulfilled, like there's a giant hole right inside me? Join the club, the emptiness is inevitable.
The fact is, we were all made with a giant, bottomless, unlimited, never-ending, infinite sized hole inside us. And only something that is bottomless, unlimited, never-ending and infinite, can fill it.

So what would be the best way for God to reveal Himself so that we could know him, so that, we might fall in love with Him.
God knows you already. God knows everything about you. God knew you before there was time and space, when you were just an idea in his mind. And he has loved us, just the same ever since. But God wants us to know Him.
